If you have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis then it is important to let us know where in the body this is occuring (sometimes it is evident because of the physicality of the person - ie. hunched back and unable to straighten). You can have loss all over (spine, wrist, hip) so full disclosure is important in exercise design. Fear of falling becomes a real issue. However, most people break the bone, before they fall, usually getting out of a very low seat. So, it is not likely you will be walking down the block and break a bone for no good reason. Strength Training helps build strong bones. Balance Training helps build confidence. The program must be followed three times per week consistently to help reverse the effects of aging and keep you on your feet!
