Brian K. Maloney, Director of Fitness and Education

Brian is a Functional Anatomy and Biomechanics Specialist.  He has extensive education and experience working with Performance Enhancement for Amateur / Pro Athletes, Martial Arts, Rehab / Post Surgery, Youth Athletics and Older Adults to improve their function of daily activities of living.

His methodology of exercise stems from a combination of functional training and conditioning, yoga, feldenkrais, and his personal experiences in martial arts and sports (baseball, handball, football, golf, tennis, cross country running).  Since 1996 he has taught Practical Training for Personal Trainers to hundreds of personal trainers.  He empowers his clients to achieve things they never thought were possible, even though some of them previously trained for years not realizing much success.

Christine Maloney, Co-Director

Growing up in Australia, exercise was just a fun part of everyday life.  My favorite sports were field hockey, squash and cricket.  Later on in life I started recreational running to relieve stress, which soon developed into distance running, culminating in two half marathons.

Coming to New York and being introducted to all the new foods, I experienced escalating weight gain.  Returning to weight training, running, rollerblading, and a healthy diet I was able to reclaim a better body.  It was then that I decided to help others by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.  I completed workshops in exercise and nutrition over the years with specialty certifications in Pre-Natal/Post Partum Exercise, Performance Enhancement, Kickboxing and Yoga.

Having recently had a son I know what it takes to get that body back from flab to fab!
